Kick-Ass Review

4 out of 5

Plot: Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.

Aaron Johnson stars as Dave Lizewski / Kick-Ass,  a nobody that decides to become a superhero.

Nicolas Cage stars as Damon Macready/Big Daddy, he and his daughter are already superheros.

Chloë Grace Moretz stars as Mindy Macready/Hit-Girl

Christopher Mintz-Plasse stars as Chris D’Amico/Red Mist

Kick-Ass does live up to its title. The violence is brutal throughout and I loved it! Kick-Ass is also very funny.

All the acting was great but Chloë Grace Moretz did the best job. There is nothing she wont say.

And who doesn’t love an 11-year-old girl killing people and dropping F’ bombs?

Kick-Ass did however star out slow but it quickly picked up.

It just might be the greatest superhero film of all time. Though it is a superhero movie its  not for kids.

Rated R for strong brutal violence throughout, pervasive language, sexual content, nudity and some drug use – some involving children.

  1. Yep, I loved this movie, and I really hope they do another one. I’m still a little disappointed with how they handled the Big Daddy character, though; I would’ve loved to see more of him in future films…if they even do them, that is.

And I completely agree with you that Chloe Grace Moretz was the best; she made the film.
