When in Rome Review

5 out of 5

Plot: Beth is a young, ambitious New Yorker who is completely unlucky in love. However, on a whirlwind trip to Rome, she impulsively steals some coins from a reputed fountain of love, and is then aggressively pursued by a band of suitors.

Kristen Bell stars as Elizabeth “Beth” Martin, who believes she will never find love. Beth then meats Nick (Josh Duhamel) and she thinks she might be in love…but does Nick love her or is he under a spell?

Josh Duhamel (know better as Fergies husband) stars as Nick Beamon, a semi-confident man who is in love with Beth, or is he?

Other known actors: Jon Heder, Dax Shepard, Will Arnett, and Danny DeVito.

When in Rome is very funny. Something funny was being said every second. And you know a film must be funny if everyone in the theater is laughing too.

When in Rome was given many negative reviews for some stupid reason. If you say you don’t like this movie then you suck. It is a must see for fans of any type of movie. Unless your one of those people who hate every film.

It will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc on June 15, 2010.

Rated PG-13 for some suggestive content.

You know, I’d never even heard of this movie until Heidi mentioned that it was playing in the dollar theater. I’m still shocked that you guys actually watched it, and I have to admit that from reading your synopsis of the plot, it really doesn’t seem that spectacular.

But you know what makes me want to see it more than anything? Dax Shepard. He was perfect in Let’s Go to Prison; I absolutely loved him in that. He was also in the terrible movie Baby Mama, but the part he played was one of the only funny parts and so spot on. He’s really great at being funny, I think. So now I’m going to have to watch When in Rome…if for no other reason than Dax Shepard is in it.
