SAW VI Review

? out of 5

This will be the last SAW VI update blog. As you all can see I did not rate the film. If you’re a fan you will love it. The SAW franchise, you either love it, hate it, or are getting bored with it.

Plot: Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood.

New and fourth director Kevin Greutert (who has been the editor on all the past films) sure brought us gory violence and torture. His SAW film deals with an executive at a health insurance company and how he and the company decides whom to cover.

Jigsaw, Hoffman, Jill, and Amanda all return. We all see John’s grand scheme and it was great. William (protagonist) had to do some unbelievable things in order to stay alive and save the lives of others.

I really didn’t care that much about the characters like I use to. I agree they should have stopped at SAW III. The ending to SAW III was a great way to end the series. If SAW VI went a bit differently at the end it would’ve been another great way to end the series. I really cant say much except see it.

Rated R for sequences of grisly bloody violence and torture, and language.
